This course is suitable for beginners. You’ll learn new skills, how to find your way around a sewing machine, making scatter cushions with zips, cushions with piped and cuffed edges, Oxford borders and envelope closes. Turn rectangular fabric strips into round sunbursts. Get top tips from our expert sewer and learn techniques for pattern cutting, templating and making.

When?
Sewing sessions are available Mon-Thu in the mornings 9:30-1:00pm.
Cost £55 plus materials
1m of fabric will be required for each session.
Continuation Sewing classes
Continuation sewing classes are also available where you can learn to make French Squab cushions, round floor cushions with multi panelled sides, box cushions / window seats and Roman blinds. Email info@oxfordschoolofupholstery.com if you’re interested.
