Bring home a handy stool which can be used for additional seating or as a side table and to help with your sewing skills make a complimentary piped scatter cushion. Create a splash of colour to accessorise your room.

This course will give you a great introduction to upholstery sewing, templating and modern upholstery techniques. You will learn how to make a piped scatter cushion before going on to upholster your stool frame ready to recover.  You’ll be taught how to make the cuts for sewing the circular top and fitting the sides creating a stool with your own choice of fabric ready to take home.

This course runs alongside our weekly courses and is suitable for complete beginners. You’ll have your own workbench and tool rack to use during your course. The school is a fun and inspiring workshop you’ll meet other creative people with a variety of projects on the go and see their ideas materialise at the same time as your own.
