Suitable for beginners, minimum of 10 weeks. You will learn the techniques required for a creative trade in modern upholstery.
This course is a progressive and project based programme which follows a set syllabus. Each step builds on the technical challenges of the previous project. As each step is achieved students will develop and consolidate skills, progressing professionally and growing in technical confidence. Our courses are suitable for all abilities and learning takes place in a supportive and friendly environment.
The aim of the Simply Modern Upholstery Course is to teach valuable skills, students can work with independently, this can be for leisure or as a vocation perhaps to start your own business. You will be able to upholster complex pieces of modern furniture while continuing to build confidence and develop professionally.
Courses run on a weekly basis throughout the year, Mon-Thurs 9:15am-4:30pm. You can spread your course into weekly or fortnightly chunks as convenient or shorter weeks if required.

Booking is easy. We offer a range of courses for both leisure and professional training from one week, project courses and upholstery clubs, to the certificated diploma courses. We offer flexible attendance so you can choose how you want to attend to fit with your life whether that be over consecutive weeks or spread out in short blocks.
