A bit of vintage cool, Cocktail chairs are an ongoing and enduring design. Unleash your creativity, with a splash of colour this little chairs work hard and can dress up any drab corner.
You’ll learn how to apply webbing to create the seat support, selecting and lashing of springs, manipulation of foam and materials to create the seat and padding. You’ll also cover cutting, templating and sewing for a more complex shape, the curved back.
The course runs alongside our weekly courses and you’ll be provided with your own workbench and tool rack to use while you’re here. The school is a fun and inspiring workshop you’ll meet other creative people with a variety of projects on the go and see their ideas materialise at the same time as your own.
You’ll bring home a unique chair, covered in a beautiful fabric of your choice and finished with trimming in your own style.
4 days - Cost for course, frame and materials is £575 plus trimming and 3m of top fabric.
